The Darkest Hour is a Horde PVE raiding guild focused on 10-man raids on the Bronzebeard server. We focus on 10-man raids not only because they are easier to manage and get started, they also allow each member of the guild to get to know each other more intimately and form closer bonds. We do not have any plans to pursue 25-man raids, though we will revisit the old world raids on occasion.

While we do keep some focus on tangible progression through these raids, we do not allow such focus to become detrimental to the enjoyment of the game. We strive to recruit quality players, not quality toons, that share our ideals and are not just looking for a "quick fix" in looting or raiding. Those who value the shiny purple more than the person next to them on the quest for the purple need not apply (yes, that goes for oranges as well).

We do not intend on being upon the bleeding edge of progression on the server, as far as 10-mans are concerned. The core goal is to see the content at a pace that allows us to appreciate and enjoy our adventures.
